Bridgette is a beautiful 6 year old Boxer mix. She weighs 53 lbs. Bridgette has been with the SPCA of East Texas for 1 year. She had an aggressive form of cancer (a mast cell tumor on her ear) which we had removed. Unfortunately, it is common for that type of cancer to spread. It is in the best interest for her to find a home where she can live in comfort. Bridgette will need to be the only pet in her home. She loves people so she will make up for needing to be the only pet. Bridgette is super fun to train and can probably learn anything. To keep her brain busy we have been working on a focused heel, pivots, fronts, and long and short heels. She loves training and learning new commands. Meet Cappuccino!! She is a 3 year old Shepherd/Pyrenees mix weighing 50 lbs. Cappuccino was rescued from a neglectful situation where the SPCA of East Texas took in 15 dogs off a single property. Meet Carlotta! She is a 4 year old Shepherd mix. She is very petite in size and only weighs 44 lbs. Carlotta was one of 14 dog that the SPCA of East Texas seized from a property in East Texas. Carlotta was left to roam the property and never really had human touch. She has been in our care for over 4 months and is slowly getting used to her routine. She is sweet but very nervous. Cassie is a beautiful 3 year old, 50 lb, Catahoula mix. Cassie is super smart and picks up on training quickly! Hi! I’m Frito a 3 year old female Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with personality who loves to play! I have had a hard life and want to find my furever home. Shy Guy is very playful and gaining in confidence! We rescued him recently from a neglectful situation where we rescued 14 from one property. He is doing great on the leash and has been on several walks with our volunteers. He is very dog friendly and tends to be very submissive.
