Our Financials

The SPCA of East Texas is an independent 501(c)(3) organization. We are a local organization and are not a branch of any other SPCA organization or group. We are totally funded by generous donors. 100% of your gifts stay right here in our community to rescue, shelter, educate and advocate for animals in need.

Where Our Money Comes From

Adoptions, program fees and our SNIPPET Clinic revenues supplement our income, but we rely on the support of our community through donations to sustain our mission. The SPCA of East Texas holds one large fundraiser, the annual New Year’s Eve Fur Ball, of which we depend on to supplement our donations. Donor support makes it possible for us to provide critical services and programs, offer the adoption of homeless pets and to spay/neuter and vaccinate not only homeless pets but also pets in the community at an affordable cost.

Where Your Money Goes

85 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to our community programs: Rescue, Adoption, Spay/Neuter.
