Thor

Meet Thor, a 7 1/2 -year-old, 16-pound Chi-Weenie who may be small in stature, but he has a mighty heart waiting to heal.

Thor was found as a stray on a busy East Texas highway. He was microchipped, but unfortunately, no one answered when we tried to reach his “owner.”

We may never know exactly what happened to Thor before he came to us, but he is still decompressing and learning that he is safe. His skin showed signs of having gone without proper care, including the flea and tick prevention every dog deserves.

Thor isn’t looking for a busy household or a lot of commotion. He needs something much more important:

– A quiet home
– A patient human
– Someone willing to let him build confidence at his own pace
– Lots of gentle love and reassurance
